Elijah loves to sit in his chair and look at the manger and watch cartoons. He can tell you almost the whole Christmas story.

Christmas Cookies

I had a lot of fun last night making the cookies for my teachers at school. When I was done cutting them out and mommy put them in the oven. I went upstairs for my bath. Then after bath time I came downstairs and frosted the cookies. This morning I gave my teachers there goodies plates. It was a great time. Just Mommy and me.

Decorating Christmas Tree

Elijah doing a great job putting on the Christmas ordements on the tree. He really did enjoy putting them on.

Daddy putting the high ones on. The boys let him put all the tractors on the Christmas tree.

Jarrett had more fun just hanging on them and walking around with them. But we did get him to put one or two on.

Trip to Boone, NC

On Sunday 2nd of Dec. 2007 we went to Boone to go and buy our Christmas Tree. While we were there we went to Grandfather Mt. to let the boys see the animals and just hang out a little bit.

Elijah loved seeing the deer. He calls them mount deer because they are not reindeer. Also because daddy can not hunt them. So the only other thing he could think to call them are mount because that was where we were at. Jarrett liked see the animals also. The bears were in dormant sleep. So only one was out and not very active. We also saw an eagle and Elijah thought that was great because him and Grandpa Gort always play about who is an eagle and who is the turkey.

Going and picking out our Christmas Tree. We have went to the same farm for the last three years and have really enjoyed it.

The tree on the right is the one we got.

Making Pies with Grandma

Elijah
was having a great time helping Grandma make the pies for Thanksgiving dinner. He was doing a good job with Grandma's help. They made a pumkin pie & cherrie pie. Along with the crusts to go with them. He was a big help I am sure to Grandma.

Trip to Mich

Elijah really liked Kyle and hung out with him alot. Well when Elizabeth would let him.

We had a great time at home in Mich. It snowed just enough to say we saw it snow. though Elijah thought it was great.

On Saturday morning Daddy and Elijah got up and started breakfast. We were getting ready to go to Grandaddy Farmers so daddy could go hunting. So while mommy was packing the van and getting the boys all ready to go. This is what daddy and Elijah were doing. Elijah had a great time putting the flour, eggs, and water all together. He also got to stir it all together. The best part was when he got to put the mix on the pan and then eat them after daddy cooked them.

Elijah's Thanksgiving program

Elijah goes to music and chapel once a week at pre-school. They have been working on this verse and song in there. He loves going to school and learning about God and playing with his new friends.

Elijah's Thanksgiving program

Before Elijah went to school this morning the boys were playing and having a good time on the coffee table. It was so cute to see the boys acting alike and playing together with out screaming at them. After the kids put on there program we all ate a great Thanksgiving lunch together. Daddy was able to come and enjoy in all the fun also. Jarrett was a nut case climbing all over the chair and him mommy and daddy. Elijah as you can see enjoyed all the food.

Elijah's indian name is running feet if you know him you will know that is the best name for him. If you don't know him he is 3 and always running or at least moving his feet even when he sleeps. We love our little running feet.

This afternoon we went to Elijah's Pre-School program. We all had a great time and hope you enjoy the video's of the program.

State Fair Oct 2007

We went to the state fair 2 times this year on Thursday and then with Grandpa and Grandma Gort on Sunday afternoon. Jarrett really did not like riding on the horses so we got him down and just stood there together.

While Grandpa and Grandma Gort were here we went to the state fair and had a lot of fun. We road some rides and ate some good food. We went and looked at tractors and watched the animals. We did a lot of walking around. We went and looked at the scrapbook pages that mommy entered and she got a 2nd place and 3rd place. If you look at the top with the white ribbon that is the 3rd place and if you look at the bottom 2 page spread with the red ribbon that is my 2nd place.

Elijah and Jarrett went through the garden and they could pick some fruits and veggies and they then turned them in and got some money so they could spend it at the store. kind of like farmers do today. Elijah got a kick out of picking out sweet potatoes.
