Blue Jay Point Park

Mommy toke us to the park this morning to get out in this wonderful weather. Jarrett is trying to climb the stairs to get to the slide like me. We meet Emma Lee & Kerri there and played for around 3 hrs. We played on the slides and did a lot of climbing. We had a picnic lunch there and I had a hot dog and some french fries. After lunch we played in the sand box. With the dump trucks and bull dossers. We filled the dump trucks with sand using the shovels and racks. Next time I will have to have Mommy bring my sand toys because we used the ones that were just there this time. Jarrett also had fun playing in the sand I think he liked how it felt on his hands.

After we were done playing in the sand we went for a walk in the woods. We had a lot of fun running in the leaves and climbing in the trees also hugging them. We went down to the water. Emma Lee thought that was great but I was not to sure about getting close to that water. Mommy is not sure why since I love to look at when we pass water in the car. After our walk we went to the van and headed home so we could all take naps.

Wednesday 21st Feb. 07

This afternoon while Mommy was cleaning the kitchen and making our lunch. Jarrett and I were playing outside in our back yard and having a lot of fun. I was showing Jarrett how to climb the hill in our back yard. As you can see Jarrett could not make it up as far as I could. I can make it to the top with no problem. Also we really enjoyed playing in the dirt with the shovels and rakes. We put a lot of dirt in the buckets and wagon Mommy gave us to play with. We went down the slide a couple of times. Not as much fun as getting dirty with the dirt since we got baths this morning. We also went over by the neighbors fences and looked at there doggies that were outside playing. I had to put a stick through the fence also just to see what the dogs would do they just barked more. Jarrett had a great time crawling through the grass too. Mommy had a great time watching us and helping Jarrett get use to playing outside for his real 1st time. Mommy really enjoyed her time getting things done in the kitchen with out us under her feet &asking 101 questions or pulling all the magnets off the fridge also. Mommy said that we had to come inside and eat lunch and I did not like that very much but she did say that if I was good I could go back outside after my nap. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as nice and we can go outside again. I really like it out there and would spend hours outside if Mommy would let me. Jarrett's 1st hair cut

On Friday night my friend Phyllis came over to have dinner with us and then we were going out shopping just the two of us and that was great in its self. Though when I got home Chad had given the boys hair cuts. Chad does such a good job with Elijah he decided to to Jarrett's also to surprise me. Jarrett did not enjoy it like Elijah does and so it was not that easy. Becuse Chad was doing it by himself he did not take any photo's so when I got home we gave Jarrett a little mock one and Chad had the wrong blade on the cutters so Jarrett has a little nick out of the back not a big deal. I got my bit of hair and my photo's for the scrapbooks.

Well just a little about the snow we had in Feb. When we got up on the 1st we did not have any snow but by 8am it was snowing and when Jarrett went down for his nap Elijah and Mommy got ready to play outside. Elijah had a great time playing outside and stayed out there for over an hour. He had a great time rolling a snowball in the yard and also climbing the hill in our back yard and then sliding down on his bottom. When Jarrett got up Mommy got him ready to go outside but he did not like it that much. So then Elijah had to cut his time outside to just a few more minutes. The Snowman is what Elijah and Mommy worked very hard at to make with just the little snow we had. When we got inside Elijah's had were ice and he got under a blanket and just sat there to warm up a bit.
