Elijah's 3rd bithday party

Chuck E. Cheese

Elijah got to invite 5 friends to Chuck E. Cheese for his birthday party. He invited Emma Lee & Kerri Johnson, Will & Ashley Martin, Wilson & Ashley Seward, Grace, Jacob, & Jordan Tomberlin. We had such a great time I think the adults had just as much fun as the kids. Elijah ran around with Emma Lee & Will and played skeet ball & rode a bunch of rides. We ate pizza and played games for the first 2 hours then we stopped and sang happy birthday and ate cupcakes. Then Elijah got to open his gifts. Then we stayed about another 30 mins. and played a little more.

Doctors Visit

Elijah at his 3 year check up got his blood pressure taken for the 1st time and that was neat to him. He also got to listen to his heart beat. Elijah weights 28.5 lbs. Elijah is in the 10% for his height and weight. Jarrett also went to the doctors and he weights 23 lbs. Jarrett is in the 25% for his height and weight and the 50% for his head size. No wonder his shirts are so hard to get over that head of his.

Elijah's 3rd Birthday

We had family over Sunday night for a cook out and then cake and ice cream. We had a good time. Elijah got a lot of John Deer tractors and has had a lot of fun playing with them. He also got a doctors kit and had a great time playing with that with Morgan the girl I babysit. He also got some new books.

When it was time to put the candles on the cake I realized I got the trick ones and that Elijah would have a fun time maybe blowing them out he did all right for awhile but then was getting upset and then Aunt Michelle helped get them really out.

Beach

While in Wilmington for the weekend we also went to the beach and had a great time. Chad & I did not put enough sun screen on and got a little toasted. Elijah got some extra sun on his back Jarrett did really good and didn't get any sun burn. While on the beach Jarrett toke part of his nap while we all played in the sand with Elijah. Elijah would also go in the water and kick the waves and then shout at them. He had a great time. Every time we have went to the beach with Elijah Chad has always barried him in the sand and this time was no different.

Beach

On Memorial Day weekend we went down to the beach and our first stop was the aquarium. Elijah loved looking at all the animals. We got to watch them feed the alligators and that was very cool. Also we watched a lot of fish Elijah's favorite was the sharks I believe. There was a tank with different kinds of sea life that you could touch. Elijah is playing with a crab right there. He also touched a star fish.

Elijah

This was Elijah's 1st year in Awanas. He was in the lovies program for 2yr olds. He learned a verses each week and also was in class on every Wed. night. He always had a good time and wanted to go to class. He worked very hard in his book and had a lot of fun. On the last night of our program he got his awards and sang a song with the rest of the lovies and cubbies.

Ball Game

Chad has been playing softball since the middle of March twice a week. So that is what the boys and I have been doing on Tuesday & Thursday nights. The season ended this Thursday the 14th and He is know the coach for the Church softball team and that season will be played until Aug. So look forward to a lot more photo's.

Outside

Well here is a couple of photo's of Elijah & Jarrett's new sandbox. They bought it with there own money and have had a lot of fun playing in it. Jarrett can not make it up the hill by himself but that is alright. Mommy just brings him up there once and a while.

Hi to all. I have a computer again and am online once again. So this is my attempt to get my blog page up to date and hopefully keep it that way. Back in April Chad and I worked really hard on our flower beds in the front of our house and just wanted to share some photo's of them with you.
